Where:
The city were live in is Tampere, Finland. It has a population of 200,000 people and is the third largest city in Finland (after Helsinki and Turku). My family lives in a neighborhood called Pispala, which is situated on a strip of land between to big lakes and is on the side of a hill (Sandra said that is was the largest sand hill in the world). My family lives in a townhome which is about 3 minutes from one of the big lakes.
My family:
mother - Anita, works as a buisness director in Cargotec (an international crane-type company), uses English for work so it is easy to converse in English
father - Esko, works in his family-owned buisness(some construction company that moves the soil around for construction), lives in summer house in Ruovesi since it´s closer to work, although sometimes comes home for the afternoon.
Lina (18) - host sister, just finished high school this year
Sandra (16) - host sister, will be going on an exchange to Uruguay with YFU for this coming school year
