Random Facts about Finland

1. Finns eat a lot of licorice. In fact, if it was up to me, then I'd say that it's the number 1 candy of choice.
2. More than 50% of Finns are lactose intolerant, so you can buy lactose-free milk in the store (I was never even aware of that such milk existed).
3. You can go to the store and exchange your empty bottle for .20€, .015€ for a can, or .40€ for a large bottle, so there is a great incentive to recycle. It is also common, and slightly annoying, for people  (mostly immigrants), to walk around during festivals with bags and collect empty bottles and cans.
3. Bikes are used for transportation, unlike America, where they are generally used for exercise.
